You may not like them for being careless and not serious about their music, but you may adore them for effective realization of sex, drugs and rock’ n’ roll lifestyle. To be precise, this is the band, which mostly cares about synthesis of metal and beer. Ladies and gentlemen, we introduce you – old-good German thrash veterans TANKARD.

To drink or to play: that is the question. This legendary quartet has been constantly proving their abilities to combine both activities. In addition to this, seems like the band really knows what a sense of humor is – it is enough to pay attention to the titles of their 13 albums, which make a really huge and not boring discography. Not mentioning demos, live albums, compilations, etc. Clearly enough, since 1982 the band simply enjoys playing about what they are most aware of.

Thus it is hardly possible not to admire them, knowing that a high fraction of creativity and lifestyle of these Germans is inspired by beer. The musicians do not even question the title of their style, Alcoholic metal, and call themselves Kings of Beer. Love for beer comes from school, where three classmates, founders of the band, drank this forbidden fruit disguised in a milk carton...

Do not even try to witness TANKARD with serious grin. It is better to provide yourself with a beer in advance and relax and shout along with legendary thrash hymns – beer, TANKARD, beer!
