BURYING PLACE [LITHUANIA]
There is no big secret that the best European Death Metal is branded in Sweden, Netherlands and Poland. However, there is a number of Lithuanian bands, that have some deadly creation and would not be put to shame even at most massive foreign festivals. Back then, when brutal, heavy and aggressive music was about to rise, Lithuanians BURYING PLACE were already rehearsing, producing demo tapes and loudly announcing about themselves. Not many remained on this path…
Of course, during its time, Death Metal was the most popular metal style, but only small number of deathsters survived, stayed on the same way and is still preaching the old ideas. Quintet BURYINIG PLACE is one of those. During almost two decades of existence lots of band members came and left, but that did not influence the music – it remained extremely brutal, highly precise and heavy, keeping primordial values of the style. Maybe they are not as active and crazy as before, but their fingers can still perform some fast shred, while growling voices can raise the dead. Throughout their carrier of more than 15 years, BURYING PLACE have stayed the same – conservative, angry and brutal. To witness this virgin vileness is something unusual.
There are not too many bands in the world, which managed not to release a full-length album during such a long time of existence. Symbolically, we have two bands of that kind in Lithuania, and they both spread metal of death. However, attention, BURYING PLACE promise that debut album of these elders will be finally available for everyone before the DEVILSTONE Open Air 2010! Let this remain a small intrigue.
