Switzerland, a country of banks, precise clocks and chocolate. What about metal music? Of course, CELTIC FROST and CORONER are above everything, amen. However, if you represent a younger generation and, for you, metal means rebellion against routine and society, BATALLION must be among the most favorite bands of yours.

Four guys, coming from the Zurich city, are real thrash maniacs, who enjoys and practices the music that attracts mostly old-school and long-haired bastards. Fast and pulsating rhythms, bestial vocals, explosive energy – these are the elements of BATTALION, who have already released two studio full-lengths. Of course, their production is not as filthy as that of 80's thrashers, since, however, nowadays even pigs live in a much cleaner environment than the larger part of the Earth's population.

Finally, one cannot be unattracted by the mindset of the band. Just look at their songnames: „Thrash Maniacs“, „Headbangers“ or even „The Fight For Metal“. Real and honest titles about that, what they consider as real. It seems like the guys are sleeping with their white sneakers and patched vests. The most groovy thing about the band is their music: the metal that passed through the fire and water. The sound that has been forgotten by the masses. However, thankfully to the maniacs as BATTALION, it arises once more! The show of BATTALION will make you come back to reality.
