PANTHEON I [NORWAY]
The Pantheon of the gods is always crowded, but if we are about to talk about the demons of black metal, their flames are even hotter. Musicians, coming from the most famous Norwegian bands (1349, SLAVIA, DEN SAAKALDTE etc), have gathered under the new symbol. Pantheon One? Pantheon Ego? Whichever you choose, this is another spit in the faces of gods.
It seems that these Norwegians are able to develop something fresh within the stiff music: PANTHEON I joins black metal along with the rushes of the modern music. If you are bored with the fast and death-bringing rhythms, here you go – a little bit of melancholy. If you don't like that – have some cello sorrow and your subconscious will be flooded by an ever flowing stream of the blackest metal symphony. Sad, unmerciful, but still powerful and quality art.
Upon starting their career, PANTHEON I had struck with the most menacing weapons. Great demo reviews and acknowledgments promised bright future for the band. However, no one ever predicted that the debut album, “Atrocity Divine”, would be swept from the markets that fast. However, today we can rejoice, as last summer the band has released the third album “Worlds I Create” - new, unknown and enchanting creation of darkness.
If we were to follow the statistics, you'd be able to count quite a few bands, named after the symbol of Pantheon, but, if you heard this name somewhere, you can be sure – one is talking about PANTHEON I. They've been traveling with MAYHEM and KEEP OF KALESSIN and, now, this quintet will visit the Dainuva valley, where they will present you their unique interpretation of darkness.
