ARRIVAL
Audience is welcome in the festival site from Thursday 5 PM.
ACCREDITATIONS
For media accreditations see the media section. Applications accepted until June 21.
AGE
Age of the festival visitors is not restricted. Children below 13 years old must be accompanied and supervised by adults. It is desirable that children from 13 to 15 years old (inclusively) should be accompanied by adults as well.
TICKETS / WRISTBANDS
Foreign visitors can book their tickets in advance and pay in cash Euros at the entrance on the festival day (detailed information provided in the section Tickets). Every visitor gets a wristband which is obligatory to be worn throughout the festival. People with no wristbands will be asked to leave Dainuva valley with no compromise. It is not prohibited to leave the festival territory when you wish. You can return back again with your legal ticket-wristband.
CONTROL
Everyone will be asked to show the wristband when entering. You will be checked up – any prohibited items will be taken by security personnel.
Do not bring any drinks when leaving the festival territory, or be ready to consume them before returning. No liquids in any open containers are allowed to be brought through the gates. Water in plastic bottles (closed or open) is an exception; however, security personnel holds a right to check it if it raises suspicion.
PARKING / CAMPING
Secured Parking Area, separated from the Concert Zone and the Campsite, will be prepared for those, coming by personal vehicles. Motorcycles can be parked next to one’s tent in the campsite, provided that no “bike shows” are going to be performed. Unfortunately, visitors with campers are only welcome in the Parking Area, as the Campsite is rather hardly reachable by larger vehicles.
A fee for any vehicle or for a place in the Parking Area is 7 Lt. (2 EUR). Each new drive into the Festival Site is extra 7 Lt. (2 EUR). A fee for a tent – 7 Lt. (2 EUR) as well.
FESTIVAL OPENING / CLOSING
Officially festival begins in July 16 (Friday), 3 PM The most impatient can settle at the Festival Site on Thursday evening. Parking Area and the Campsite are open since then. Food and drinks service starts on Friday afternoon. Official end of the festival – July 18 (Sunday), 3 PM when Parking Area and Campsite will be no longer security attended. Dainuva valley should be vacated until Sunday evening.
INFO CENTRE
Info centre provides all information about the festival, its program, etc. Apply in case of any queries or troubles – if your phone battery is empty, you have got a headache, you lost something or found somebody else’s belongings, etc.
SECURITY, FIRST-AID
Safety and order in the Festival Site will be secured by professional security company and police force. In case you are injured and need the first-aid, ask for help in the Info Centre. If you have any question or face a problem, address to security personnel, festival volunteers or organizers.
DRINKS / FOOD
You will be provided with professionally prepared and delicious hot dishes or snacks in the Festival Site. Vegetarians will also have a fair choice.
Festival beer – TAURAS. Two kinds will be available: “Tauras Extra” and “Tauras Traditional”. Cider will be available as well.
MERCHANDISE
Various bands and DEVILSTONE Open Air’s merchandise will be on sale in the Festival Site, as well as jewellery and similar crafts.
PROGRAM
The program with the bands’ schedule, details of additional activities and other relevant information will be handed together with the wristband when entering the Festival Site. They will also be available in the Info Centre.
PHOTO / VIDEO
Do not bring your professional video, photo equipment. It is prohibited (except for the media representatives). Casual photo-cameras are welcome. We also expect that you do not mind other festival visitors, participants and organizers to enjoy and use for non commercial purposes your photographs, if they are accessible for publics.
SWIMMING
The Campsite will be based on the very bank of the river. It is a nice place for swimming as well. But be cautious – the river Šventoji has a rather rapid stream. Mind yourself and careless people, so that nobody needed a lifeguard.
WC / HYGIENE
A sufficient number of bio-toilets will be arranged in the Festival Site for people’s convenience and for keeping the environment as clean as possible.
Šventoji is a really clean river, thus additional showers will not be arranged, but a few bio-washbasins shall be provided.
GARBAGE
A number of garbage bins and containers shall be placed across the festival ground for your convenience. Please, make the effort to use them, thus keeping the Dainuva valley as clean as possible.
FIRE
Two legal fire places shall be arranged for everybody’s common use. It is strictly forbidden to burn the wood of the valley. A sufficient amount of wood for the managed fireplaces shall be provided by the organizer.
Open fire is strictly prohibited elsewhere throughout the entire camping and festival site. But camping stoves and barbecue grills are allowed as long as they are not used for purposes other than intended. Have your own wood for the personal stoves and grills.
CASH
Only cash and only Litas are accepted in the festival area. Euros are accepted only at the entrance when paying for the tickets. Banks and cash machines can be found in the town.
THE TOWN
Dainuva valley is ~1 km remote from the Anykščiai centre. The distance is easily covered on foot. In the town you will find cash machines, shops, bars, hotels, if you long for comfort. Anykščiai region is rich of cultural and natural heritage, thus it is an interesting place for sightseeing.
HANDICAPPED PEOPLE / CHILDREN
Unfortunately, there are no possibilities to arrange special conditions for handicapped people and small children. In case you have any troubles, just apply to the festival’s volunteers, security personnel or Info Centre – we will try to do our best to help you.
PETS
You are allowed to bring your pets to the festival on condition that they are friendly, do not endanger other people, do not make noise and do not disturb general order. Dogs must wear their muzzles, and pets’ owners must collect their excrements according to the legal law.
CONCERT ZONE
It the zone where concerts and other activities take place. Info centre, food and drinks stands, merchandise kiosks are also set in the active concert zone.
QUITE CAMPING
The quite camping is situated as much away from the active zone, as possible, and it is intended for families with children, or those, who prefer quieter rest. Additional noise and bustle are not welcome there.
ACTIVE CAMPING
It is intended for the active festival visitors, who do not mind noise or bustle around their tents day and night.
TENTS
Each tent must be marked with a certain card, visibly hung on the tent. The card can be purchased at the entrance together with festival tickets and wristbands. The tent fee is 7 Lt. (2 EUR).
ONE DAY TICKETS
One day ticket can be purchased only on festival days at the entrance. If you intend to stay on the first day (Friday) only, you pay the sum for the whole festival and you get back the overpaid difference at the entrance if you leave the festival before Saturday noon (12 o’clock). If you come to the festival on Saturday, you pay the fixed price (See the Tickets sections).
NOTE
Have your phone battery charged before arrival. See about your most necessary things. Do not forget a sleeping-bag, a tent, clothes to change, hygiene means, cooking battery, pharmaceuticals. Cash your money in advance.
Prevent possibilities of thefts – always keep the most important stuff (phone, wallet, photo-camera, diamonds, brilliants etc.) with you.
