Hugleikur Dagsson: Exhibition and Meet & Greet at Devilstone
‘Hello I am Hugleikur Dagsson and I make jokes about poop, death and other family values. I’m a cartoonist and writer mainly. Also other things. Don’t care much for pasta. Born and inbred in Iceland. I won an award once.’ – that’s how this Icelandic artist, equally loved and scolded for his sense of humour, greets everyone who stumbles upon his Facebook page. An exhibition by this author is the main point of this year’s Mass Hypnosis and Hugleikur will come for a meet & greet himself. The event will be held at Anykščiai public library from the 12th of July to the 11th of August. Merch will also be available.
Hugleikur Dagsson is most famous for his satirical comics, which have been published by Penguin Books. There are more than 20 books published since 2002 and yes, he indeed has won an award for stage plays.
69 pieces will be exhibited at Anykščiai public library. Hugleikur will open the event on the 12th of July, the exposition will be accessible until the 11th of August. Official merchandise (books, prints, t-shirs) will be available for purchase throughout the duration of the event.
